The concrete slab is an element of the system of building trace roads (roads with a divided surface) connected with each other in a hinged manner on the entire width of the slab. Slabs connected this way create sturdy roads with flexible connections, thanks to which there are small requirements as to the hoisting capacity of the foundation, at the same time creating very durable track-ways for taking over communication loads.
With a good and static surface, the concrete slabs may be placed on any kind of foundation, since due to the flexible way of connecting the slabs there is no possibility of negative cold influence.
Slab Construction
The slab is made out of b-30 concrete. The slab buckles were designed in order to achieve a hinged connection of the slabs and the possibility to create curved sections of the road by moving the slabs by an appropriate distance from the previous ones.
The maximum load of a single axis on a concrete slab is 6 tons.
